There’s no doubt that food is a big part of any travel experience, and many times when you try a meal again, you are taken back to that date and time when you first tasted that particular dish. During my trip to the Cotswolds, I had to try some well-known English dishes, like a good old fashion English breakfast–fried eggs, sausage, black pudding, bacon, mushrooms, baked beans, hash browns, toast, and tomato. Hungry? Not so much after eating all of that, but a great way to start the day.

Two other memorable dishes I had were traditional pudding at Three Ways House Hotel; right after dinner, you must have a big bowl of warm pudding and custard. The second one was the after-dinner tea at the Hare and Hounds–hot chocolate with homemade marshmallows and crunchy chocolate strips with a cream tea.
